I grew up in a family that listened to mostly country music, from my grandparents to my mom and dad, but aside from that, there is nothing country about where I grew up near the beach in South Florida. You could even argue maybe it was more of a Kenny Chesney kind of country lifestyle. Perhaps that is what has led to my fascination with attending and photographing rodeos. And yes, the title is a play on lyrics from the Garth Brooks song, "Rodeo." This series is an ongoing project.
